iCredit, a leading financial services provider in Central and Eastern Europe, plans to create 500 new jobs and open 15 new regional offices in Romania in 2017. The expansion on the Romanian market will bring the number of employees up to 1,500 in 90 regional offices across the country by the end of 2017, making the company one of the largest employers in the financial sector.
“Our 2017 plans to grow our business by opening over 500 new jobs and expanding our network is aligned with iCredit development strategy for Romania and will have a meaningful impact across the country by providing access to better financial products and services to the customers. Following our 5th Anniversary on the market, currently iCredit maintains a portfolio worth over 18 million euro, with a team of over 1,000 professionals working at the company’s headquarters in Bucharest and 76 offices across the country”, said Goran Arsov, CEO of iCredit Romania.
iCredit will set up “iAcademy”, a training center to lead the process of finding and acquiring skilled and talented personnel and preparing them for onboarding on management positions, supporting their professional development and career growth in iCredit international network of offices.

The operating process of this segment includes the identification and training of a large number of socially committed credit officers, called Credit Consultants (CC); reaching out to groups of low income people that are potentially creditworthy; identifying and assessing of customers’ projects and needs in collaboration with CC; finding the proper solution for the customers according to their credit scoring; providing personal assistance and consultancy; and following up on supervision and collection.
In general, Credit Consultants visit current and potential clients for credit consultancy and disbursement as well as for collection of installments.
