About the role…

The role is based within the April team and is directly reporting to CTO & CEO functions.

What will be my Responsibilities as a Software Business Analyst?

  • Participate in the whole software development process – from research, through analysis, implementation and launch phase;
  • Elicit and gather the business requirements; specify and model the requirements/ user stories to ensure they are complete, unambiguous and testable; prepare the needed documentation in proper format as per the internal procedures and policies;
  • Participate in new system, tools / functionalities implementation and integration – from initial analysis till user acceptance test and launch;
  • Serve as a direct representative of the business with delivery teams (developers, QA, external partners), representing/reinforcing the customers’ perspective throughout the product realization cycle. Observe priorities as required while keeping tight timelines;
  • Propose solution approach and business process changes to be made as part of implementation of solution;
  • Contribute to the success of the team and its vision by encouraging open communication, innovation, teamwork and a high degree of professionalism.

What Skills & Experience do I need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Business/Technology, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Management or equivalent;
  • At least 3 years of experience in software business analysis, preferably with ERP or CRM systems;
  • Experience with agile development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban etc); demonstrate an agile mindset in everything you do;
  • Professional experience in financial services area will be considered as an advantage;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of scope in line with the delivery plan;
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management in order to perform discussions, suggest improvements, report status etc.;
  • Excellent computer skills – MS Office, Jira ect.;
  • Very good knowledge of English – spoken and written.
