Main CTO Responsibilities:

  • Work with Executive Management Team in setting the short and long-term technology objectives while providing the expertise necessary to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization through technology;
  • Lead the development teams and IT partners to achieve company goals;
  • Oversee and manage all phases of systems design, programming, testing, networking, installation, and operation;
  • Keep abreast of changing trends in technology to include hardware, networks and network tools, software, and systems;
  • Conduct regular due diligence studies to ensure effective, efficient and compliant service from vendors;
  • Oversee Digital banking solutions: hardware/software installations and maintenance, communications, regulatory compliance, and service disruption resolutions;
  • Work effectively with Business Analysts and Product Owners to ensure delivery against agreed priorities;
  • Establish and stimulate software development standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high quality software;
  • Identify and implement technology trends that will be able to support the future success of the business;
  • Help recruit and retain talented and hard-working individuals to the team ensuring that the skills and experience of Software Development teams are consistent with its scientific, technological and business needs for providing quality in present and future services;
  • Establish clear organisational structures and succession plans aligned with appropriate responsibilities, accountabilities and personal development for all Software Development staff in line with any anticipated growth;
  • Actively participate in budgeting, cost estimation and annual business plans creation.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology or equivalent;
  • 2+ years of experience managing software development teams in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment;
  • Familiar with and experience in some or all of the following technologies: .NET Standard 2.0+ (including .NET Core) with C#; Windows Server 2016; EF Core; massTransit; RabbitMQ; MediatR; ASP.Net Core; Docker; SpecFlow; Redis; Kubernetes; MS SQL Server;
  • Knowledge in Design Patterns and Service Oriented Architecture based on microservices;
  • Knowledge in Azure infrastructure and Cloud DevOps CI\CD practices;
  • Knowledge and proven experience of leading and successful delivery of big IT projects;
  • Familiar with Agile practices, methodologies and teams management;
  • Able to set and manage priorities;
  • Strong people management skills with the ability of hire and grow talented developpers;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively as well as excellent presentation skills;
  • Self-starter who can come up to speed quickly and identify the problems that need to be solved;
  • Acts with a sense of urgency, especially where customer impact and/or delays exists;
  • Able to envision and deliver software solutions that meet user needs and/or solve business problems;
  • Able to design and architect technically sophisticated solutions to meet challenging user requirements
